Yea, we know Waring is hard to find!  Here's a map and driving directions.

FROM SAN ANTONIO:
Take IH10 Westbound approximately 40+ miles, exit #533 (Welfare Exit), and continue west on the access road.  You will see PoPo's Restaurant on your right and the road will then fork.  Take the fork to the right and turn right again at the "T" (this is the Waring-Welfare Road).  Continue approximately 6 miles and you will end up in "downtown Waring" (a 4-way stop sign).

FROM AUSTIN:
The scenic route might be a little longer but, hey, you will get a good look at the beautiful Texas Hill Country instead of IH35!
Scenic - Take 290 South to HWY 281, turn left onto 281 South.  Take a right at 473 and go approximately 21 miles to 1376.  Turn right on 1376 to Sisterdale, then take a left onto 473 towards Comfort.  Continue on 473 for about 7 miles until you see a sign to Waring. Turn left onto Waring-Welfare Road to Waring (right after you cross the Guadalupe River).
